Peek-a-boo!

I don’t consider myself a “big name” when it comes to the blogosphere and social media. I’m just someone who loves to write and hopes that my writing finds people who love to read it. Yet, I feel bad because life got hectic, and one of the first things to suffer was my blog. I pulled a Jack Bauer and went dark for about 4 months. Then, on Monday, I published a post without as much as a “sorry!” So: Sorry for playing the world’s longest game of peek-a-boo.

Even though I wasn’t publishing posts on The Dreamer Speaks, I was publishing pieces in different spaces. For those of you who don’t follow me on social media, here are the links. In the meantime, I promise to try to do better! I appreciate the time you spend reading my posts.

Was Blind, but Now I See: My Sankofa Story. This piece was featured in The Redbud Post, the online magazine that features the writing of members of The Redbud Writers Guild.

Cheese Toast and Lynch Mobs. This piece was featured on the Love Mercy Do Justice (LMDJ) blog. LMDJ is a mission priority of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC).

Since I’m sharing, I figured I’d include a list of the other pieces I’ve published outside of The Dreamer Speaks.
